  • IU donated 200 million won under the name 'IUAENA' in celebration of her 14th debut anniversary. Her donation will be used to support children & female cancer patients & youths preparing for independent living – September 2022

  • IU donated 100 million won to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association for flood relief efforts. Her donation will be used to restore areas affected by heavy rain and help victims of flood damage – August 2022

  • IU donated 210 million won under the name of 'IUAENA' in celebration of her birthday. Her donation will be used for surgery & treatment for children and adolescents with hearing impairment, supporting single parent families who are experiencing financial difficulties, child care facilities in need of help & facilities for the disabled – May 2022

  • IU donated 100 million won under the name 'IUAENA' to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Children's Day. Her generous donation was be used to support low-income single-parent families, living expenses for children raised by grandparents, and facility renovation for children – May 2022

  • IU donated 100 million won to Hope Bridge to support temporary housing for those displaced by massive wildfires in the Uljin area and Samcheok city of South Korea  – March 2022

  • IU donated 10 million won to help Gwacheon citizens in need at the end of the year. – December 2021

  • IU donated a total of 200 million won ahead of Christmas under the name IUAENA. She donated to 100 million won to Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to help fund winter supplies and the tuition fees of prospective college students from low-income grandparent/single-parent families. She also donated 100 million won to ASAN Social Welfare Foundation to help struggling families and to fund the medical expenses of children & female cancer patients – December 2021

  • IU donated 850 million won in celebration of her 13th debut anniversary. She personally proposed the idea of donating necessities to those in need to each brand she endorsed. IU also thought it was meaningful to share half of the donation. Together with Gnal-N, 2,000 first aid kit sets were donated to Korean Unwed Mothers' Families Association (KUMFA) so that in every family, 'no one will get sick'. Together with New Balance, 1,000 pairs of sneakers were donated to Child Independence Support Enterprise of The Children Welfare Association to 'cheer on the first step' of children in institutional care. Together with Banolim Pizza Sharp, 2,000 pizzas were donated to Korean Children's Welfare Association to help 'raise the happiness' of children. Together with BLACKYAK, 2,000 kids supplies and winter padded jackets were donated to Child Care Institution of Seoul's Children's Welfare Association so children who needed to be protected 'will not be wavered by winds in this world'. Together with Evezary, 300 blanket sets were donated to Korean Senior Support Center to 'gift a warm resting place' to the vulnerable senior citizens'. Finally, Together with Jeju Samdasoo, 30,000 bottled water were donated to the community health workers working hard in the frontlines across 20 public health centres and screening centres in Seoul district – September 2021

  • IU donated a total of 500 million won under IUAENA to celebrate the last birthday of her 20s. She donated 100 million won to "Purme Foundation" to support the independence and rehabilitation of disabled people, 100 million won to "Yeouldol Association" to aid children and teens with rare and incurable diseases, 100 million won to "Korea Paediatric Cancer Foundation" to protect the lives of children with childhood cancer and leukaemia, 100 million won to "Seoul Children's Welfare Association" to support children welfare facilities, 50 million won to the "Korean Unwed Mothers' Families Association (KUMFA)" to support the legal and social rights of unwed mothers with emergency protection and 50 million won to the "Korea Senior Support Center" to aid the vulnerable senior citizens living alone – May 2021

  • IU donated 30 million won to Gwacheon City to help with COVID-19 prevention. She previously donated 10 million won in November 2019 to support the low income in Gwacheon – March 2020

 

  • IU donated 30 million won to Seocho District to support single-parent families and low-income residents in purchasing necessary items to protect against COVID-19 – February 2020

 

  • IU donated 100 million won to “Korean Medical Association” to support COVID-19 prevention, specifically for low-income families. She also wishes for healthy growth of children – February 2020
