OUR STORY
It all started with a simple dream. A dream of seeing IU perform live in Canada. We never thought about how far this group will or can go. As IU’s influence becomes more and more prominent worldwide, we believe sharing her work is more than just an act of love. It can bring happiness to people’s lives and create wonderful memories that last a lifetime. And knowing fan communities for IU are present all around the world, many representing their own country, we asked ourselves, “Why doesn’t Canada have its own?” This question became the driving force for our team. We had a desire to unite Uaenas in Canada and to have IU and her work reach more people, especially those living in western countries. When passionate like-minded individuals come together, everything just clicks and the possibilities are endless.
VISION
Established on September 21, 2019, IU Canada is a national fanbase in Canada for South Korean singer-songwriter and actress IU. It exists to unite IU fans in Canada and to collectively display our love and support for IU at both a local and international level.
MISSION
The mission of IU Canada is to:

Unite fans of IU who reside in Canada

Promote IU, her work (including music, drama, film…etc.), and her international fan communities to people all over the world
